It appears that Samsung has opened up the One UI beta. One UI is Samsung’s re-branding of Samsung Experience 10 and is based on Android Pie. It features a massive UI overhaul with an emphasis on one-handed ease-of-use and a system-wide dark theme.Samsung has previously never had a beta program for their Galaxy Note line-up, so this is an interesting development.

The official Android Pie update for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled for January of 2019. We’ll let you know when it goes live, or if the beta expands to more Note 9 owners in other regions.
